To encourage Filipino Catholics to respond to the challenges and responsibilities of the Church’s call to mission, especially in PCLM; to recruit, interview and screen PCLM candidates.
PCLM encourages and recruits Filipino lay Catholics, single men and women or married couples, to commit themselves voluntarily to missionary service in the Church within the Philippines and in other countries. Their commitment to PCLM is temporary, beginning with the signing of the contract of affiliation and ending upon termination of mission service; however, affiliation with PCLM is not limited by age or length of service.
